yep. It's getting good reviews, but I don't know if that will help it. Expecting a low over/under.

Box Office Report and a few others have this thing at 28 - 29 million.

The marketing for this classic Luney Tunes film is steady, with all the cartoon networks showing the trailer over and over again each morning. Kids will come out for this. Box Office Report is predicting 16 million. I pretty close with him. It won't show up on the chart until Friday, just like Brother Bear did. I'm taking the following at Intertops:

14 million to 24.9 million +130

Master and Commander is getting fantastic reviews. Box Office Report is predicting 29 million, and Russel Crowe fans are starving for one of his films since they've been waiting for almost 2 years. Pirates Of The Caribbean has made this genre more popular... I taking the following bet at Intertops because it has great value:

29 million or more +200

and then to cover my butt I'm betting a small amount on 23.5 and over at wsex.

the over for Master and Comander at Wsex looks decent.... taking a risk with the Loony Toons under. Bugs Bunny is old new although it does have Brendan Fraser in it.

I like about 15 - 16 million... maybe 17 million for Tunes. Master and Commander I think is going to do good. 27 - 30 million. (my change of heart is that people are still buzzing from Pirates of the Caribbean and Russel Crowe is a top actor.)

Box Office Report and Mojo have Master and Commander making 27 - 29 million. Which makes Intertops 29 million or more for +220 even more tempting. Lots of value. The perfect comparison movie is THE PRERFECT STORM... which made 41 million its opening weekend, and Master and Commander looks much better, which is another reason why 29 million or more +220 is a good value play. Last but not leasst, Master and Commander was a popular book series that's sold millions of copies. With all these facts, I think our Box Office Gurus are right in predicting 27-29 million.

I'm hitting +220 at I'tops. (with a back-up play, of course)

damnit yahoo changed the way they assign buzz numbers to movies, I mean ****, Loony Tunes is on there

ooops, and Master and Commander is no where to be seen! wtf. the mob got to 'em huh.

You can get Master and Commander - 29 million or more for +235... wow... that's great value. I nailed it for +220. While watching the show FRIENDS and so far I've seen four trailers for Master/Commander. Box Office Report predicts 29 million... so I think the value is super.

It costs half-a-million dollars to air a 30 second commercial during FRIENDS. So they spent 2 million dollars in a half-a-hour marketing Master/Commander during FRIENDS. That's a lot of viewers. They tagged it better than Gladiator. I think this puppy has a shot. For + 235 it's worth the risk. Whish I would have waited... but +220 is still good.
